In November, TEAM JAOS took part for the first time in the Baja1000 race.
At first, they were running smoothly on the mountain course. However, after about 30 kilometres, the electronic control system began to have issues. The team replaced parts such as the fuel system and intake system, but unfortunately the condition of the engine did not improve.
In the end, at around 160 kilometres, they realised that they would run out of time by the time they reached the next point, so they made the difficult decision to retire.
TEAM JAOS’s first BAJA Challenge was a very disappointing result, but the team was able to learn and experience a lot, which will help to shape their approach to the race next year.
